We are looking for a friendly and professional full-time administrator (37.5 hours per week) to support the management team. The role would involve working on HR tasks for 2 days per week and on Super Curriculum tasks for the rest of the week. Duties would include accurate record keeping, sending letters and emails, liaising with work and voluntary placements, some diary management and spreadsheet work, as well as filing and photocopying. 

The successful candidates will have excellent written and spoken communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to work well in a busy environment. They should be able to demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and empathy with young people and a willingness to be of service to the College community. 

Salary Range £21,000 - £25,000 depending on experience

Assistant Bursar
April 2019

We are looking for a friendly and professional full-time assistant bursar (37.5 hours per week) to work alongside the bursary team. The ideal candidate will either be AAT qualified 9or nearing completion) or have other recognised accounting qualifications. They will;

  • Have experience of working in a Bursary/Account environment, with good all-around knowledge of accounts related work (invoicing, bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, credit control, accrual/pre-payments, management accounts etc.)
  • Be proficient in Sage 50 Accounts and Excel
  • Have good attention to detail with good numeracy skills
  • Be comfortable liaising with students, parents, suppliers and colleagues
  • Be a problem-solver with own initiative and ability to bring tasks to completion

Salary will depend on experience in the range of £23,000 - £27,000.
This is an exciting opportunity for a capable person as the role will allow them to grow and expand their responsibilities and skill set.
