GCSE Courses

The General Certificate of Secondary Education, or GCSE, is the national qualification taken prior to A-levels. Students usually take five or six GCSE subjects in one year.

Our standard GCSE programmes include:
  • A total of 32-36 hours of timetabled study per week
  • 12 hours of individual tuition per week, or 20 hours of mini-group tuition (max 3 to a class)
  • 12–24 hours per week of time-tabled independent study set by the tutors (exam questions, essays, project work and written tests) carried out in our invigilated study room

  • Regular written assessments to monitor progress
  • Written reports sent to parents/guardians twice each term (6 times a year)
