The General Certificate of Secondary Education, or GCSE, is
the national qualification taken prior to A-levels. Students
usually take five or six GCSE subjects in one year.
Our standard GCSE programmes include:
A total of 32-36 hours of timetabled study per week
12 hours of individual tuition per week, or 20 hours of mini-group tuition (max 3 to a class)
12–24 hours per week of time-tabled independent study set by the tutors (exam questions, essays, project work and written tests) carried out in our invigilated study room
Regular written assessments to monitor progress
Written reports sent to parents/guardians twice each term (6 times a year)
