Director of Mathematics and Physics

Dr. Lansbury is a mathematical physicist with an extensive research background in both the UK and the USA . Her research interests range from non-linear dynamics and chaos to naval architecture. She is a graduate of University College , London ( UCL ) and her doctorate is in mathematical physics. In addition to her research, Alexis has lectured in mathematics at London University ( Birkbeck College and UCL ) and Brunel University . She was instrumental in developing innovative teaching methods for mathematics and science in the university sector including designing continuing education A-level modules. Alexis is a highly experienced teacher and an examiner for A-level mathematics. She lives in the Cotswolds with her author husband and Charlie her dog.
