Renata Calverley is a graduate in English from the University of Nottingham and gained her Post-Graduate Certificate of Education qualification (PGCE) from the University of London .

Renata has had over 30 years experience of teaching in both the private and state educational sectors, primarily in schools with high academic reputations and with an emphasis on preparing 16-18 year old students for their final exams and university entrance. For the past five years, Renata has been engaged in a Project Management role in Canada and Japan for GAP Activity Projects, a charity which places UK students in a variety of caring, school, medical and conservation placements throughout the world, with reciprocal arrangements for students from other countries to visit the UK .
