At Oxford International College, most students are taught through individual tuition (one-to-one method). This tutoring system is based on the method developed by Oxford and Cambridge Universities, and is a highly successful way of enabling students to progress at a pace that is right for them.
Individual tuition creates unique learning and assessment opportunities which promote greater participation by students, who are encouraged to venture answers and ideas which they might not have had the confidence to voice in a traditional classroom setting.

About Our Tutorials
Individual tuition is given in one-to-one tutorials and in small groups of two to four students and includes:
- individual subject tuition
- a personal study plan
- setting written assignments for every tutorial
- marking and review of written assignments
- tutor report on each tutorial, accessible online
- supervised independent study
- regular mock examinations and test assessments
- weekly meeting with personal tutor
- UCAS service
International Students
Our teaching methods are ideal for
