Academic Summer School

This three-week programme takes place in August at one of our residential course centres in Oxford , or at one of the colleges of Oxford University . It is for international high school, college or university students who wish to experience the culture and history of Britain while gaining excellent academic tuition. The programme offers students the chance to combine a wonderful summer in the UK with rigorous academic study.

Our faculty of outstanding academics, many from Oxford University , can liaise with schools or colleges to design programmes that complement the students' study at their home institutions. Students can choose from a wide range of academic classes from the arts or sciences. The courses have been designed with high school and college credit in mind, and half credits are granted on request for each course successfully completed. Although this is usually a formality with most schools, students who wish to receive credit should consult their high school counsellor to confirm that it may be transferred.
