Effective Team Member Skills
This qualification is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management. Through a range of activities this course provides students with a foundation to develop and practise team skills that will allow them to become more effective team members. The course consists of a combination of tutorials, group work, practical learning, research and private study.
About the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM)
The Institute of Leadership & Management exists to support, develop and inform managers at every stage of their careers. It offers a wide selection of flexible leadership and management qualifications and specialist member services. The ILM works closely with organisations of all shapes and sizes to understand and meet their leadership and management development needs. All ILM qualifications are accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) in England.
The Qualification
The Award requires three credits. One credit is equal to 10 hours “learning time”.
Learning time includes:
- The time it takes the average learner to complete the learning outcomes.
- Tutorial time
- Group work
- Private Study
- Research
- Practical Learning
- 11 hours are spent with a tutor (tutorials, guided reading, facilitated discussion and one-to-one feedback)

Assessment Process:
| - | The overall pass mark is 50 marks. |

| - | It is essential to achieve a minimum of 8 marks in each section. |
| - | The Centre (OIC), using an Internal Verifier, assesses the Reflective Review (M2.34). |
| - | The centre completes all internal quality assurance. |
| - | An independently selected representative sample will be assessed by an External Verifier. |

Results for each candidate will be recorded on a Schedule of Results. Where a learner’s initial attempt is unsuccessful, further attempts may be made before submitting the Schedule of Results. |
| - | The signature of the External Verifier must be obtained before claiming certification. Deadlines are available on the website. |
| - | Upon receipt of the Schedule of Results the ILM will issue Certificates for successful candidates. |
