OIC Brighton is an ambitious and aspirational community, which is open to 13 to 18-year-olds of all backgrounds and nationalities.

We accept applications all year round and all our programmes – pre-GCSE, one- and two-year GCSE, and two-year A-level – start in September.

Enquiry

Your admissions journey starts with our online enquiry form. Our friendly team can answer any questions, talk you through the application process, and confirm we have places available.

Apply

Ready to apply? You’ll need to complete our online form and pay our application fee.

Once we’ve received your form, we may ask you to provide some additional documents, such as school reports, reference letters, or exam certificates.

Assessments

We’ll then invite you to sit our admissions tests. The type of assessment you’ll take depends on the year group you’re joining.

Successful applicants will then be invited to an online or in-person interview.

Offering and confirming your place

Once your assessments and interview have taken place, we’ll formally offer you place. Offers to non-native English-speaking students are conditional on your International English Language Testing System (IELTS) results. There may also be other conditions attached.

To confirm your place, you’ll need to sign and return the acceptance form and pay our deposit by the date specified in the offer letter.

Joining us from overseas? We’ll send you a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) document, which you’ll need for your visa application.

Pre-arrival information

We’ll send you a pre-arrival guide ahead of your first day, which contains essential information and a useful checklist of things to do before you join. We’ll also send you some documents, which you’ll need to complete and return to us.
