THE CITY OF DREAMING SPIRES 

Oxford is a world-famous university city that’s steeped in history and tradition. It’s also a cultural, artistic, and social hub, which is packed with things to do.

If it’s entertainment you’re looking for, then Oxford offers everything from stand-up comedy and live music to art exhibitions and musical theatre. Plentiful green spaces – including Christ Church Meadow, Shotover Hill, and a variety of university parks – are great places to spend time with friends. Oxford is full of cosmopolitan cafés, restaurants, street food markets, and designer shops, too.

Our city is also a great base from which to explore further afield, whether it’s taking a trip into London, visiting Winston Churchill’s birthplace at Blenheim Palace, or exploring the majestic Chiltern Hills.
