INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS INSPECTORATE

The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) is an organisation officially approved by the Secretary of State for Education. ISI is responsible for inspecting over 1,200 independent schools in England, educating more than half a million students. ISI ensures that these schools meet the required standards set by the government and reports its findings to the Secretary of State for Education, helping maintain high educational and welfare standards across the sector.

Ofsted, the Office for Standards in Education, inspects schools across the UK to ensure they meet the government standards in both academics and boarding.
