Student Achievement | Haley Recognised in National ISA Poetry Competition

We are delighted to announce that Oxford International College has been officially awarded Sleep Champion status by the Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) – a recognition of our outstanding commitment to student wellbeing and academic success through the promotion of healthy sleep habits.

We are delighted to share the exceptional achievements of our students in this year’s British Biology Olympiad (BBO) 2025! A remarkable 59 students have been awarded Gold, Silver, or Bronze, showcasing their passion, dedication, and deep understanding of Biology.  

This week, our Year 12 Chemistry students completed their required practical as part of their A-Level course. Lead by Dr Chaudhury, the practical focused on the synthesis, purification, and analysis of an organic solid, equipping students with essential laboratory skills needed for success in Chemistry.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the incredible success of our students in the British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) Senior Challenge 2025! Their dedication, resilience, and passion for physics have led to an outstanding achievement, with an incredible 35 Gold, 41 Silver, 22 Bronze, and 2 Commendation awards!

Last night, history was made at Oxford International College as students and staff came together to celebrate creativity, self-expression, and the courage to perform. Our first-ever Talent Show was more than just an evening of entertainment—it was a powerful display of confidence, passion, and personal growth.  

What a game! In a nail-biting contest that went down to the wire, OIC put on a spirited performance against a strong and physical Wheatley Park team. From start to finish, it was an intense, high-energy battle, with both teams trading baskets in an end-to-end thriller.  

Oxford International College’s inaugural participation in the Formula 1 (F1) in Schools competition marked a significant academic and extracurricular milestone, demonstrating the value of applied STEM education, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The event was an opportunity for students to engage in real-world engineering challenges and enterprise development, culminating in an impressive accolade – the Judges' Choice Award.

We are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated Enrichment Week 2025, taking place from the 15th to the 23rd of February. This incredible week is designed to inspire our students in Years 11, 12, and 13 by blending academic learning with hands-on experiences, real-world applications, and career-focused opportunities.
