Empowering Our Students Together | Thank You for Joining Our Life Skills Webinar
Your Support Makes a Lasting Impact on Their Future
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the parents who joined us for our recent Life Skills webinar. Your time, interest, and engagement are invaluable, and we truly appreciate your commitment to supporting your child’s education beyond the classroom.
At OIC, our Life Skills programme is a crucial component of the well-rounded education we offer our students. Alongside academic achievements, these skills prepare students for the real world, helping them develop confidence, resilience, problem-solving abilities, and a strong sense of responsibility. By fostering these attributes, we aim to equip our students with the tools they need to navigate future challenges successfully, both in their personal and professional lives.
Your participation in our webinar demonstrates the importance of a collaborative approach between College and home. The discussions, questions, and feedback shared allow us to continuously refine our programme, ensuring it remains relevant and impactful for our students. We appreciate your insights and are always keen to hear how we can further support both students and parents in this journey.
For those who were unable to attend, or if you would like to revisit any part of the discussion, we have made a recording of the webinar available which was shared with parents via email.
If you have any questions or would like to share further thoughts, please do not hesitate to reach out to Laura Simmons, Teacher of PSHE. She will be happy to assist with any queries or provide additional information.
Once again, thank you for your continued support. Together, we can help our students build the essential skills they need for a bright and successful future.
We are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated Enrichment Week 2025, taking place from the 15th to the 23rd of February. This incredible week is designed to inspire our students in Years 11, 12, and 13 by blending academic learning with hands-on experiences, real-world applications, and career-focused opportunities.
At OIC, we deeply value the contributions of our mentors who generously offer their time, knowledge, and expertise to help our students excel in their university interviews. These dedicated professionals, from various fields and institutions, provide invaluable guidance and practice sessions that equip students with the confidence and skills needed to succeed in competitive admissions processes.

Excitement filled the air as students from OIC took to the track for their highly anticipated Racetrack Day, an essential step in their preparations for the upcoming F1 in Schools Regional Finals on 6th February.
