Xi brings over a decade of experience in mathematics teaching and educational leadership.
Prior to joining OIC in 2024, Xi taught mathematics at Kings Education to students preparing for A-levels and international university admissions. She served as the Maths Coordinator for the Advanced Foundation course and was later appointed as Head of Maths.
Sensitive to the needs of international students, Xi is dedicated to ensuring that her students receive the right support to reach their academic goals. She guides her students through challenging concepts step by step, building a clear pathway toward mastery.
Xi not only encourages her students to achieve their best but also strives to continually enhance her own skills through ongoing education and training. Passionate about academic leadership, Xi is currently working toward a National Professional Qualification for Leading Teaching at University College London.
Xi holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Science from the University of Birmingham and a PGCE (Maths) from the University of Oxford.
Xi believes that the key to academic success is consistency and persistency. As she tells her students, “Learning is the process rather than the result.”
