At Oxford International College, we are proud of our robust welfare system to ensure ongoing support of every student.
Our pastoral team helps students to settle into college and boarding life and continues to support them throughout the whole duration of their studies. With house parents and wardens living alongside students at our boarding houses, we try to build a friendly and homely atmosphere, accommodating individual needs, instilling mutual respect and creating a sense of community.
Our full-time Student Services Manager is on hand at all times, and most students also form excellent relationships with their subject tutors. All students are registered with a GP surgery (Bury Knowle) for minor illnesses and free check-ups. Appointments can be booked through Student Services or by phone. Students will be accompanied, if necessary.
All our boarding house accommodation options provide students with access to a range of facilities such as communal areas, pool, table tennis, TV rooms, bike storage, laundry and sports facilities to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Sport and Physical Fitness
All our students also receive membership at the Oxford University Sports Centre as soon as they turn 16. The centre offers a 25m swimming pool, gym, and athletic track, with options to book many more facilities for a fee. The College offers a large number of clubs including basketball, football and badminton.
