A total of 2 Top Gold, 19 Gold, 24 Silver & 33 Bronze medals were achieved by our students in the 2021 British Olympiad (Chemistry, Biology and Physics). In addition, a total of 20 students were highly commended and 4 were commended.

Pearl Ng has been offered a scholarship leading to a BA (Honours) degree in Law.

The Scholarship is awarded by the charitable organisation The Friends of Cambridge University in Hong Kong Ltd. It was established in 1981 and provides financial support to talented Hong Kong students to study at the University of Cambridge, many of whom would not otherwise have the opportunity to do so.

Zi Suen Kok has been offered a scholarship leading to a BA (Honours) degree in Medicine.

The Scholarship is awarded by the charitable organisation The Friends of Cambridge University in Hong Kong Ltd. It was established in 1981 and provides financial support to talented Hong Kong students to study at the University of Cambridge, many of whom would not otherwise have the opportunity to do so.

Eugene has been awarded with a significant scholarship towards the cost of her 5-year degree to study Medicine, with St George’s University (SGU), who are based in the West Indies (Grenada). We have fostered a strong relationship with SGU, who also provided a week-long medical programme for our AS students during the February Enrichment Week. In addition, the University subsequently provided OIC with professional suturing equipment to support our Medicine Society.

Eugene presented really well at interview and impressed the admissions team with a strong application. What is particularly notable about SGU, is that they are the No. 1 provider of doctors into the USA for their residencies – which makes this a desirable option for some of our aspiring medics. This Medical Pathway Program is run in collaboration with Northumbria University, Newcastle. Eugene will complete the first two years of study in the UK before then progressing to the West Indies, for the remainder of the course.

Dhuvarkar is identified as one of the exceptional students who hold an offer to study at the University of Warwick for 2021 entry. He has achieved the Warwick Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship 2021, hence, £13,000 scholarships per year for duration of Undergraduate course will be awarded.
