We would like to introduce to you the brand-new OIC recycling and sustainability initiative!
Our aim is to encourage you to start recycling and promote making conscious decisions about your influence on the environment, something that many of us might have put on-hold and forgotten about during the pandemic. In the past year we have unfortunately produced and thrown away more plastic than ever before.
In order to try to tackle this problem, Oxford International College has decided to start an Internal OIC Boarding house competition (with exciting prizes – please see the poster) and to join the global
Recycling Hero 2021 competition.
In order to participate in the competitions at your boarding house, could we ask you to do the small task of thoroughly washing your plastic meal boxes, giving them back with a label writing your name on them to the agreed location (your residence team will let you know).
