Taking place in June 2026 at The Village School and The British International School of Houston, the Summit will bring together more than 150 students from over 50 Nord Anglia schools worldwide to explore leadership, social impact, and global citizenship through the lens of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and children’s rights.
Anna and Felicia were selected to represent OIC in recognition of their outstanding merits, academic achievement, and leadership potential. Both students follow the Clinical and Life Sciences pathway, with Anna considering studying Biomed at a US university and Felicia currently studying Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology. Anna was also recognised for achieving Silver in the Physics Olympiad — an impressive accomplishment that reflects both her intellectual curiosity and academic versatility.
This year’s Summit will focus on the theme “Making the Invisible Visible” alongside Sustainable Development Goal 12, encouraging students to think critically about sustainability, responsible communities, and the role young people can play in creating meaningful global change.
Throughout the week, students will take part in workshops, leadership activities, and collaborative projects designed to develop the core Learner Ambitions: being critical, creative, compassionate, curious, collaborative, and committed. Sessions will explore youth advocacy, storytelling, public speaking, systems thinking, and sustainable action planning, equipping students with the confidence and skills to lead with purpose both within and beyond school communities.
The Summit also offers a unique opportunity for students to build connections with future-focused changemakers from around the world, strengthening cultural understanding and collaboration across the global Nord Anglia community.
This opportunity reflects their academic commitment, leadership potential, and willingness to engage with important global issues beyond the classroom. We wish them every success during the Summit and look forward to hearing about the experiences, ideas, and perspectives they bring back to the OIC community.
