Halloween came to life as students gathered for an evening of costumes, music, games and plenty of festive fun. With a live DJ, delicious food and a lively atmosphere, the celebration brought our boarding community together for a memorable night away from the classroom.
Organised by our boarding team, the Halloween party gave students the perfect opportunity to take a break from their academic routines, enjoy time with friends and celebrate one of the most anticipated events of the autumn term.
Costumes, Music and Halloween Fun
Students embraced the Halloween spirit, arriving in an array of creative costumes that brought plenty of personality and excitement to the evening.
With a live DJ providing the soundtrack, students took to the dance floor, enjoyed the music and made the most of the festive atmosphere.
There was also a selection of games and activities, bringing a little friendly competition to the celebrations and plenty of opportunities for laughter.
Our talented catering team prepared a delicious selection of food for everyone to enjoy, adding another special touch to the evening and ensuring students had plenty to keep them fuelled throughout the festivities.
Celebrating Our Boarding Community
At OIC, boarding is about much more than providing a place to live. It is about creating a welcoming, supportive environment where students from around the world can build friendships, share experiences and feel part of a community.
Events such as our Halloween party play an important role in bringing students together beyond their academic studies, encouraging them to relax, connect with one another and make lasting memories.
With a diverse international community, these celebrations also provide opportunities for students to experience different traditions and enjoy shared moments with friends from a wide range of backgrounds.
Making Memories Beyond the Classroom
From the creative costumes and dancing to the games and laughter, the evening was another wonderful example of the vibrant social life that makes boarding at OIC special.
Our regular programme of boarding activities is designed to support student wellbeing, friendship and a healthy balance between academic ambition and personal development.
A huge thank you to our boarding and catering teams for their hard work in organising the celebrations and creating such an enjoyable experience for our students.
Halloween at OIC was certainly a night to remember, and we look forward to many more opportunities to bring our boarding community together throughout the year!
