Kim joined OIC’s nursing team in 2025, bringing with her 41 years of NHS experience within the Oxford NHS Trust. Her most recent role was as a Colorectal Specialist Nurse in the Stomacare Department, where she supported paediatric, teenage and adult patients in managing stomas following surgery, both postoperatively and in the community.
Kim has extensive experience across gynaecological nursing, urology and general surgery, and played a key role in establishing Oxford’s first Day Surgery Department, helping transform patient care by reducing the need for in-patient stays. She has also worked in community hospitals in London, supporting children with disabilities and guiding families through the social care system.
A nurse and mother of two, Kim is passionate about healthy living, with a focus on balanced nutrition and exercise to support physical and mental wellbeing. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, walking in Oxfordshire’s parks and embracing life as a grandparent. Kim takes great pride in supporting OIC students and building strong relationships to enhance their college experience.
