Mark combines academic rigour with real-world impact. He holds a BA (Hons) in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Liverpool, alongside qualifications in mental health and an MA in Social Sciences. Over his career, he has authored or co-authored 72 academic and educational textbooks, reflecting his commitment to shaping understanding far beyond the classroom.
At OIC, Mark’s passion lies in helping students explore the science of human behaviour — from understanding stress responses to analysing attachment theory. He treasures those lightbulb moments when students recognise themselves in the material and begin to view the world, and their own potential, in a completely new way.
