Richard joined OIC in 2020 and teaches Mathematics, bringing both academic expertise and a personal understanding of resilience in learning. He holds a Master’s in Applied Mathematics (Fluid Mechanics) and a PGCE from Oxford University, and has experience teaching across a range of educational settings.
After a varied career in IT, construction, and language teaching, Richard discovered his real vocation in the classroom. At OIC, he is known for his ability to help students overcome challenges and grow in confidence, encouraging them to see obstacles as opportunities to learn.
He values the dynamic energy of teaching and is passionate about guiding students to reach their full potential in mathematics and beyond.
