Looking Ahead: Preparing for Results Day
Over recent weeks, students have demonstrated exceptional commitment, resilience and determination as they completed their GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A Level examinations. Whether preparing for university, progressing into the next year of study, or embarking on new opportunities beyond OIC, they leave this academic year having much to be proud of. As attention turns towards Results Day, students will be able to access their results via the iSAMS Student Portal from 8:00am on the relevant release date. Cambridge International AS and A Level results for Computer Science and History will be published on 11 August, with all other AS and A Level results following on 13 August. Cambridge IGCSE results will be available on 18 August, with all other GCSE and Edexcel IGCSE results released on 20 August. For many students, August will mark a significant milestone as university places are confirmed and future plans begin to take shape. UCAS will update shortly after A Level results are released, allowing students to confirm their next destination and prepare for the transition to higher education. As always, OIC staff will be available throughout Results Day to provide guidance, support and advice. Whether celebrating success, considering alternative pathways, or exploring available options through UCAS Clearing, students will have access to expert support every step of the way. As the academic year draws to a close, we congratulate all students on their hard work and perseverance. We wish everyone the very best of luck for Results Day and look forward to celebrating the achievements that will help define the next chapter of their futures.
