The Year 11 students took part in the Intermediate Maths Challenge on 2 February. Of 35 OIC participants, we had 13 students achieve a gold certificate, 9 silver and 9 bronze. Nationally in this competition, about 7% of students score gold, 13% silver and 20% bronze- so our students’ results were very strong. Congratulations to Silas, who has scored 135 out of a possible 135, and also to Cindy, Aidan and Benedict, who all got at least 23 questions out of 25 correct too.
All 13 students who achieved gold can now take part in a follow-on competition. Congratulations to all participants!
Hosted by St George's University, School of Medicine and in collaboration with Northumbria University, the Mini Med programme provided an eye-opening exploration of healthcare and medical education for our Oxford International College students
