OIC Cultural Night

Cultural Night - Cultural Night
Celebrating our International Community
The incredible Oxford International College Cultural Night is brought to you by our brilliant Student Council and Glee Club, under the support and supervision of Jenny Bourlakis, OIC Student Services Manager; introduced to OIC by our Chief Education Officer, Yasmin Sarwar, it is a hugely popular College event, celebrating culture, creativity and the arts.

The hugely popular annual event celebrates our students heritage and cultures through art, dance and song, showcasing their many talents. OIC Cultural Night actively seeks to promote the positive benefits of inclusion, compassion and togetherness and is a wonderful opportunity for our students to come together as a community and share their talents and cultures with the rest of the College. Now in it's 6th year, the OIC Cultural Night is always a fantastic and fun night!

The evening began with a brilliant performance by Ayumi Lam, followed by beautiful duets, outstanding opera, dance together with a special performance from the amazing OIC Glee Club, not to mention an incredible capoeira routine by David Sobol followed by more singing, dance and rock performances. During the interval, everyone enjoyed snack and some delicious homemade goodies made by our wonderful staff.

A truly rich, varied and vibrant evening of events!

Another great part of OIC Cultural Night is that it brings staff and students together, outside of the classroom and allows the time to enjoy each others talents and
traditions, bringing real sense of international community and comradery.
