This year the advanced problem-solving competition for A level students attracted over 15,000 students, from 900 schools worldwide. The competition challenges and stimulates those with an interest in biology to expand and extend their talents. It enables students to demonstrate their skill and to be suitably rewarded with publicly recognised certificates.
Students were presented with topics and ideas which they were not familiar with, competing with their problem-solving skills and understanding of core principles. We are proud of all the OIC students who took part in the challenge and would like to celebrate among them, the standout performers who achieved Gold (with only 5% of BBO participants achieving this), Silver and Bronze.
