We were thrilled to welcome back two of our accomplished alumni, Sophie Brand and Karen Lau, who recently returned to campus to share their experiences and inspire the next generation of students.
Sophie Brand, now a Medicine student at Imperial College London, and Karen Lau, studying Physiotherapy at King’s College London, reflected on how their time at school shaped their journeys. Both credited their biology lessons as a key factor in preparing them for their academic and professional success.
“The foundation I built here made my transition into medicine so much smoother,” Sophie remarked.
“The lessons gave me the confidence and skills I relied on every day at KCL,” Karen added.
During their visit, they engaged with current students, offering practical advice and insights into their fields. Their stories and achievements served as a powerful reminder of what dedication, hard work, and excellent teaching can achieve.
