Oxford International College is proud to celebrate two students who have been recognised with Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards, achieving the highest marks in the world in the June 2025 Cambridge IGCSE examination series.

The prestigious awards recognise exceptional academic performance in Cambridge examinations and highlight the achievements of top-performing students globally.

Cambridge International examinations are taken by students in more than 160 countries worldwide, making a “Highest in the World” award one of the most prestigious academic distinctions a school student can achieve.

Two OIC students received this remarkable distinction:

  • Hubert Wong, who achieved the highest mark in the world in Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry
  • Darius Hercule Lee, who achieved the highest mark in the world in Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (Without Coursework)

These awards represent an extraordinary academic accomplishment and reflect both the dedication of the students and the strength of Oxford International College’s academic culture.

At OIC, students are encouraged to develop intellectual curiosity, resilience, and ambition. Through expert teaching, personalised academic support, and a culture of excellence, students are empowered to achieve exceptional results and progress to leading universities around the world.

The Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards recognise exceptional achievement in Cambridge exams globally and celebrate students who achieve the highest standard in their subject.

We warmly congratulate Hubert and Darius on this outstanding accomplishment and look forward to seeing their continued success in the future.
