Turkish Education Delegation Visit

Throughout the day, the delegation met with members of the College's Senior Leadership Team to learn more about OIC's vision, mission and approach to educating ambitious students from around the world. Discussions explored the UK education system, the College's Global Strategic Pathways, and how personalised academic and pastoral support helps students achieve places at the world's leading universities.

The visitors were also introduced to OIC's distinctive student-centred approach, learning how Strategy Tutors, expert teachers and boarding staff work together to support every student's academic progress, personal development and future aspirations. They gained an insight into the College's enrichment opportunities, global partnerships and commitment to preparing students for success both at university and beyond.

A guided tour of the campus allowed the delegation to experience daily life at OIC first-hand. They visited our teaching spaces, specialist facilities and boarding accommodation, discovering how students learn, live and grow within our close-knit international community. The tour also showcased recent developments, including the College's new Dining Hall and Innovation Lab, highlighting OIC's continued investment in creating an exceptional student experience.

The visit provided valuable opportunities for discussion, with teachers sharing experiences, exchanging educational perspectives and exploring approaches to teaching, student wellbeing and university preparation. These conversations reinforced the importance of international collaboration in education and the shared commitment to helping young people reach their full potential.
