Serena Receives the 2026 ISA Lexden Prize

The ISA Lexden Prize recognises an outstanding Sixth Form student who demonstrates not only academic excellence, but exceptional character, leadership, service and a positive impact on the lives of others.

During the presentation, the ISA representative reflected on the strength of Serena’s nomination and the qualities that made her stand out:

"Many people spend their lives asking, ‘What can I achieve?’ But the truly exceptional people ask a different question: ‘What difference can I make?"

Serena was praised for demonstrating exactly that difference, with the representative highlighting how her academic achievements, commitment to helping others and determination to turn ideas into meaningful action had distinguished her among this year’s nominees.

The presentation also recognised the values evident throughout Serena’s nomination, being exceptional, pioneering, tenacious and compassionate – and how these qualities are reflected in the way she approaches both her education and her contribution to others.

Addressing Serena directly, the ISA representative said:

“Your achievements are extraordinary, but even more impressive is the difference you have made to the lives of others.”

The ceremony concluded with Serena being formally announced as the recipient of the 2026 ISA Lexden Prize and invited forward to receive her award.

It was a proud moment for Serena and the wider OIC community, marking national recognition of an exceptional young person and everything she has achieved.
